Help with using this site.
November 5, 2008I don't have the time to tell you "new" Loyals how to use this site... so i hope this will help and you will stop bugging me.
If you are reading this blog it means you are new to this site. If you are new to this site, you possibly have questions or need help with working/using this site........ Bellow you will find all the help you will ever need, but if you need more you can post a comment at the very bottom of this page, and i will get back to you as soon as possible.
How do I put images/pictures onto this site?
This is the most common question I get... it is very annoying, but i understand some people are not blessed with a brain capable of thought, so i will try to help =)
To post pics on this site you must:
1) Right click the pic you want to post on this site (the pic must be online)
2) a menu will pop-up and you will then click on: Properties
3) a box will pop-up with info on the pic.
4) highlight the image's address/location and copy it
5) Past it on this site, but put a ! point at the start and end of the address.
6) after you have done the above, you can then press the "Submit" button, and enjoy the pic you posted..
Here is an example....

The pic MUST be online.. In other words, it must be saved onto the internet and not on your computer's hard drive (although, you can have it on your computer's hard drive if you want)... In other words, you must be able to view and see the pic on any different computer that has an internet connection. An easy place to find an image of anything (ask your parents first) is to go to Google.com and search under "Images"... Who would have thought of that! =P
How do i post pics from my digital camera on this site?
If i did not make it clear, the pics that can be posted on this site MUST be online. A picture taken with your camera is saved onto your camera or on your computer's hard drive... In other words, in is offline can can't be posted on this site.
To post pics on this that that have been taken with your digital camera you must:
1) save the picture onto your computer
2) go to Photobucket.com ( click here )
3) start an account (don't worry... its free)
4) then after you have an account you click the "Upload" button, find the file of your pic/image, then upload it..... the size of your pic will affect how fast it uploads...
Note!!!--- If you already have a Photobucket account, then you clearly don't need to make a new one -.-"
Once your pic/image is uploaded onto the photobucket web site, you can treat it as any other pic buy using the normal instructions of putting a image on this site.
How do i change my face pic/image?
1) click on the "Update" button, at the top of this site
2) You will then go to a different page, and right under were it says "Your Page" in big blue letters, It will have a button that says "Profile"
3) Click on the "Profile" button.
4) Once the page loads, you will see you can change your "Headshot" and your "Badge" at this place.
How do i edit my "About you"?
1) click on the "Update" button, at the top of this site
2) You will then go to a different page, and right under were it says "Your Page" in big blue letters, It will have a button that says "Profile"
3) Click on the "Profile" button.
4) Once the page loads, you will see you can change your "About": adding words or using the possess to post pics at this place.
How do i post a blog?
1) click on the "Update" button, at the top of this site
2) You will then go to a different page, and right under were it says "Your Profile" in big blue letters, It will have a button that says "Blog"
3) Click on the "Blog" button.
4) Once the page loads, you will see you can change your "Blog": adding words or using the possess to post pics at this place.
