A psi-vampire
August 16, 2008there are some fellow loyals i think need this info, so i have posted it for them........
What are "Psi-vamps"? Psi-vamps are vampyres that, rather than feeding on blood, feed on energy. Born with "deformed chakras" (-Laurasia-) Chakras are energy centers. Psi-vamps cannot create enough energy to thrive on the energy they make alone.
Energy? Energy comes in many forms. Example of these forms can be: Natural, sexual, electric, emotional, positive, negative (etc.)
How do Psi-vamps feed? The majority of feeding is done unconsciously, or without the knowledge of either beings involved. In a word, Osmosis.
And if they don't feed? This varies from vamp to vamp, so is a rather difficult question to answer.
If the only side effect that a true energy/psychic vampire had to not feeding were a headache, it would be a crippling headache that would stop normal functioning. Like an extremely severe migraine. (-Laurasia-)
Are Psi-vamps actually psychic?
First, a psi vampyre, and a psychic vampyre are not the same. Psi is short for psionic. Some psies do have psychic abilities, but most do not. Basically a psi has a natural gift for sensing, and manipulating energies. This can be done on a small scale, with little results, or on a much larger scale. The vast majorities of psies use this ability on a daily basis but do so sunconsciencly. They also have the ability to create a link with others, and share energy through a circuit.
Do Psi-vamps have a longer than average life span?
In some cases yes, a psi can live longer than a normal human. Even "immortality" is possible. Though it is quite uncommon and requires a large amount of training, and meditation. Third, psies function at a higher level mentally. There for they need to supplement their own energy with outside sources. There is more to being a psi than just "draining" people. I could say vampyres are just humans with a blood disorder. But like psies, there are advantages to being a vampyre, as well as disadvantages. As for where the term psi-vampyre came from, probably because we require energy like vampyres require blood. Finally, for now, from what I know, vampyres all have similar abilities, strengths ect, with of course the individual differences we all have. But psies are completely different. Not every psi has the same ability.
What abilities to Psi-vamps have?
Some of the "gifts" that we can possess (not everyone has every gift, obviously) are as follows:
1) The ability to form the above-mentioned link with others. 2) Being generally psychic. 3) Energy manipulation. (Obviously we all possess this gift to some degree.) 4) The ability to heal others. 5) The ability to heal ourselves. 6) The ability to slow the aging process. (EXTREMELY RARE!!!) 7) Proficiency at astral projection. 8) High sensitivity to our surroundings. 9) Highly empathetic. 10) The ability to physically see auras.
weaknesses..... lol, you think i would tell you?.. oh, because you want to know..
1) Can't keep friends for that long (in real life, the web is different) 2) Have alot of allergies (like garlic.. can't stand the stuff) 3) Eyes are very sensitive to light 3) skin is sensitive to vitamin D (the sun... but we will not catch on fire, like in movies) 4)........ ok why do you what to know?
WE ARE HUMAN!!! WE ARE JUST DIFFERENT!!! "psi-vampire" is just a lable.... someone can be "smart", "athletic", "fat", "ugly" and still be called human... we are no different.
(That’s it, I hope people don't get to ticked when they see whom I snitched this info from, and I just thought it best to collect it all in one place. And, BTW while doing this I have recognized myself many times over, and am proud to say that i am what i am...... don't like it? then you don't like me)
