Just back from VEGAS!!!!!
September 15, 2009Just got back from Vegas!!! Talk about frickin AWESOME!!! I went to Liquidy on September 9 and I got to see Criss and talk to his brother JD for a minute. I had such a great time I did not want to leave but I had promised my cousin I would once I got
Went to Liquidy on 09/09/09! Criss arrived in a mood to party through out the night! He started by picking out people who where standing around the bar doing shots of tequila with them. I counted at least 6 shots of tequila and the whole time I was thinking damn I can't even stand the stuff let alone do that many. Why could it not have been Whiskey or pucker! Both more my speed! Anyway there where a ton of people there all waiting to see Criss. He joked with two brides who where there instead of being with their husbands on their wedding day then took a break while we watched that night's "MINDFREAK" .
After the show he started to greet the crowd and take pictures with people. While I waited my turn to have my picture taken with Criss I noticed JD standing at the bar talking to a few people and getting his picture taken with guest as well. So I decided to go over and ask him if he would mind having my picture taken with me. I think JD was about ready to go take a break and sit down himself when I asked him "May I have my picture taken with you?" He looked so surprised and puzzled that I asked him instead of assumed it would be ok. I have been taught in Karate to always ask a person first before laying a hand on them or touching them as a matter of respect and after being at Liquidy I think a few more people should learn to be more respectful. JD smiled and agreed to have his picture taken which I just want to say "Thank You!" for doing so I appreciate it. After I had my picture taken with JD he then surprised me by asking me if I was there waiting for Criss. Then he re-assured me Criss would be around for me to meet him and have my pic taken with him. I did not know how to tell him I have waited almost 4 years to meet Criss and have my picture taken with him not to mention tried for 3 years in a row to see him as well as came all the way from Michigan that I would be going nowhere till I did and if I could talk my cousin Kim into staying all night I would be there till Criss closed down his bar! So basically I just nodded my head and said "yes I'm waiting for Criss!"
I did not mind waiting for Criss. Who on here would mind waiting for Criss really??? The whole thing seemed like mass chaos! My cousin and I come from a very small town in Michigan. Someplace where wal mart is the center of the social universe and it's a miricle we have cable tv & can watch A & E. To me the whole thing seemed almost overwhelming. It did overwhelm my cousin so at this point I promised her I would leave once I got my picture taken. Ofcourse getting my picture taken turned out to be a bigger feet then expected. I'm a very short person with big blue eyes and a nice smile so people assumme they can just walk in front of me which they did repeatedly. I could not believe how pushy and rude people can be. I mean I know it's Criss and everything but please remember the respect thingy. You should respect the man and wait your turn not to mention respect the short people especially one who could break you! Namely me! LOL! Since I did not want to be thrown out though for throwing a few elbows(my best technique!) I decided to be polite and paitient. Also I decided to get the attention of one of the security guards while my cousin got the attention of the other and between the two I finnaly got to briefly meet Criss and get my pic taken with him. The whole thing turned out to be quite cute. I think Criss had been ready to take a break when both of the security gaurds said something to him about getting his picture taken with her or me! Criss looked around, looked right over me and said "Where is she!" I laughed and said "Down here!" Then quickly I got my picture taken. Thank you Criss for waiting! After that there where so many people crowding and I had to figure a way to step out of there I did a bit of leg work from Sanchin Ni and got out of there.
As crazy as it the whole thing turned out to be I loved all of it and would do it again. Next time I'm going to go by myself though so I can stay or ask my cousin Tina who is a bit more of a party animal to go with me. Going with family is good. Going with the right family is better. Hopefully Criss will be in a partying mood because I'm staying! LOL!
