Saw BeLIEve twice!

BeLIEve truly is a work of art! Full of humor, beauty, and magic. All combined into one. As a fan I saw a man on stage who just loved performing, and I myself appreciated every moment of the show.

So I went in with an open mind. I've read all the reviews. I was ready.

Saturday night the crowd was so low, meaning they did not respond to any of the humor, illusions, etc. I saw Criss struggling to win them over, and he worked very hard at it. He put his heart and soul into that performance, and I, as a fan, appreciated the show...not because I am a fan, but because one has to go into this with an open mind. No, there is no acrobats, and some of the illusions we have all seen on Mindfreak. But it was, nonetheless, BEAUTIFUL to watch. I loved it!

Monday night the crowd as a whole different story...they were upbeat, laughed, screamed, and made the cast and crew feel like their hard work was worth it. It was great. The second time around I loved it more. I saw more details that I missed the first time around. It's a love story with an evil villian intertwined, and going into Criss' dream and mind was an adventure.

It just goes to show that Criss appreciates not only the edgy side but the poetic and beautiful side as well. He definitely pushes his boundaries in the show. Nothing like what you would see on Mindfreak. It's theatrical, and I hope this show continues to thrive.

I will definitely be back!

      I agree with every word you have written. I felt the exact same way when I saw the show several times at the end of January. It's beautiful, humorous, poetic.. I saw a side to Criss I didn't see on Mindfreak and I love this side. The audience reactions were kinda lame most of the shows I attended too, there also were not many fans around. Seems like the general public doesn't really get or like it. That's sad.. Criss and the whole crew do a great job and put a lot of effort into all this. I hope the reactions are better now and everything will work out in the end.

      I went on a night that the audience was DEAD as well. I couldn't understand how they weren't excited by the incredible show being perfromed in front of them. I did my best to scream extra loud to make up for the low energy!

      Oh that's great. I went to see it twice in one night and both times the crowd lagged. it sucked so I made up for them by bieng the loudest in the audience both times mwahaha. I told my gf and she's like "that's my baby!" haha

      Ellen - Sooooo glad to hear you got to see beLIEve twice and that you enjoyed it! I, too, have read the posts, good and bad, and am planning on going with an open mind. It'll be funny to see my sister's reaction as she knows almost nothing about Criss or MindFreak - only that she HAS to go with me! :-) Can't wait till January 27th!       Glad you had such a great time, love your pics with Criss! I too get to meet him next Saturday after seeing his show twice (Fri. and that night.) It'll be surreal! I love the program, the rabbits are my favorit e costumes and the bunny in the hallway to his theater is the CUTEST thing!

      WELL WRITTEN Girl! I felt all the same as you! When I was there on Oct. 30 it was a slightly tough crowd as well. I heard some of the Media, because that was who the show was geared towards...walked out...which was very sad. I have seen it twice and hope to see it again. It is very lovely and I can associate with his life so much with mine right now. I feel like I am getting eaten up like those rabbits, and people not believing in what I have to offer and who I am..GLAD YOU HAD A BLAST!

      Its hard to see the show only once. I also saw Believe twice when I was in Vegas back in Oct. the two shows had diffrent endings but nonetheless I loved them both. I have tix for Dec.19 and Lee(angel57)is also heading out to Vegas again to see the show so now I'm seeing Believe again on the 20th can't wait!!!
