Nov 24th Meet and Greet
November 26, 2008AMAZING! In one word!! Criss is exactly what everyone says he is...genuine, warm, and cares about his Loyal fans. Pictures are posted under my banner to the right!

It was an amazing night! I waited almost seven months for the opportunity to meet Criss, and finally it happened! He is so sweet, warm, and genuine. Even with security being so tight, he gave everyone their own time. And yes, he smells delicious!
There were probably 50 people there. We filed into the theatre lobby just after 12:00 a.m. and went through the entire security check. The guards had to check out the gift I had for him before letting me through. Around 12:30 we heard his voice, "Hey folkS, how are ya?" He came from the theatre entrance, and everyone went crazy! He again asked why we were there, if we had won a contest (not sure if he was just pretending not to know or if he really has no clue who wins or what contests are out there?), but when we all told him we were from the fan club he said, "Ah, my Loyals are here!" He thanked us all for coming, for all of our support, and he started right into the line of people.
I could hear him chatting to all fans...from things about his family and his dad, questions and comments about the show, where they were from, etc. He was upbeat and happy. He signed autographs even though we were told at the beginning he wouldn't be. Loved it! J.D. and Costa were not there or Dimitra. Just his manager and a whole pile of security.
I was last in line, and when I approached him he just gave me this coy smile from under his hat. I told him that all of his fans from the website said "hi", and he said it was is so sweet to have such unbelievable fans. I gave him an album I made with poems and a letter I had written last year, along with scrapbooked quotes. I thanked him for selecting my banner for the show, and he said that they are working on where they are are going to display them or use them. I had a picture of it in the book I gave him, and he was extremely gracious and thanked me for all of my time and hard work that I put into it. He said, "Yeah, yeah, that's the banner that's right back stage. You are an extremely talented artist", which I replied, "Thank you very much, and it was totally worth every minute". For both the gift and banner he asked Tommy to take a second picture, and I got a peck on the cheek for that one! He said, "Let's take another one, Tommy, I want her to have a good one!" What a sweetheart! Tommy and Jason (his manager) also complimented me on my banner. What a great feeling to know that something I worked so hard to make is actually going to be a small part of his show in some way or the other.
He is just a normal guy yet at the same time one can't be overwhelmed by his demeanor and charisma. You can't help being proud to be a fan in that moment. He is just a down to earth guy who has the sweetest side when meeting him in person.
What an amazing memory! Something I will treasure for a long time!!
