MY LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME :-))
December 7, 2008I finally got to go to the Meet & Greet. I didn't know what to expect but when Criss came in, all the worries and heartaches over the confusion and rescheduling for the past months just melted away. First off, he was so nice and sweet. He thanked all of us for coming and all the support we have given him and his show. We were sort of rushed cuz this took place at 3:00 pm and he had a show to do at 7:00. We were told that we can't take individual pics. We had to do it per booking and in my case, with my sister. Wasn't too thrilled about that although now I realize I could have asked him and he wouldn't have said no. He was so accommodating and friendly.
Anyway, when we got our turn, I didn't know what to say. I only had one shot and I was determined to try to at least get a good pose with him. So I told him "All three of us better be cute in this picture cuz I waited for this all year." He said,"Awww...ok."
He put his arms on my shoulder and my sister's and pulled us closer to him so our cheeks were touching, making a sound of a big kiss. (BTW, he smelled so good!)
I froze and seeing no reaction, he softly said,"Oops...sorry." Still, nothing came out of my mouth. I was frozen, just looking at the camera trying to look good for the pic. After the pic was taken, I immediately snapped out of it. I turned to him and grabbed his right hand with both hands and held it firmly saying "Criss, thank you so much! This is so awesome." I was looking into his eyes with his face just inches away from mine. He held out his other hand and firmly held my hands too and said,"Oh same here. Thanks for coming. Enjoy the show."
That was that. It came and went in a matter of minutes but the euphoria of the moment stayed with me all weekend. I've met Criss Angel! He is everything I thought he'd be...sweet, warm and caring. And more. My life will never be the same.
Oh, I had the chance to meet some Loyals... Mary, Debbie, Ginny, Connie, Dana, Kellee, Pam and Gina. This, too, was a treat. Just like Criss, they were warm, friendly and we have a bond. We're all different, but also a lot alike. It was nice meeting you all and hopefully, it won't be the last.
Lastly, we went to see "Believe." It was amazing! If you are a true Criss Angel fan, you will love this show. Forget the negative reviews. Sure, it's not your typical Cirque show with a circus-like feel and acrobats. Because why would it? Criss is after all an illusionist, not an acrobat...and he certainly delivers in this show. It's full of special effects, illusions, puppetry, sexiness, awesome choreography and it does take you inside Criss Angel's mind. I certainly enjoyed it and Criss, being ever so gracious and grateful with the audience's applause, it just feels right. It is his show with a flavor of Cirque Dul Soleil.
