too much that i asked you for

if i could live without you then maybe i would know some kind of peace, i love you more than anything in this world but its still not enough for you, everyday i give you everything and you take it, now i dont have anything left to give, i wake everyday to the fact that you'll never need me the way i need you, and knowing nothing i could ever do will make you love me the way i love you, you say you love me but how can you when you hurt me so much, empty words your saying break my heart in two, so when you do say you love me i tell myself you dont feel it enough to mean it, but you care enough to lie, i know in my head that its not meant to be this way, not like this, but i know in my heart i love you, so i live this way, because the thought of living without you is too much to bear, so as you break my heart, know you'll always be apart of everything i do, and even though i asked you for nothing, it was too much that i asked you for.
