OMG, yesterday was a cool day. Vic (my roomie/bestfriend/ex-fiance) and I went out driving around John Brown's Farm because we've heard that there were some black bears hanging around. I've never seen any live in person even though I've lived in the Adirondacks for a total of 10 years. So we ended up seeing three black bear cubs! Triplets! They were so cute! They were in someone's back yard looking for apples. We took pictures (Vic did) and when they saw us, they stood up and hugged the tree! It looked like they were posing; it was so cute. Then someone drove by real fast and loud and they got scared and ran away. I wanted to take a pic with my digital camera, but I didn't have a good enough shot. When Vic gets his put on a disc and into the computer, I will put them on here so you can see them. They were so so cute! Then, when we were driving back home, Vic freaked and stopped the car suddenly. I thought he saw another bear. Nope, it was a beautiful owl! A barred owl actually. He was so adorable and beautiful. We took pictures. I was able to get an ok pic, but only when he flew to a tree further away. Vic got a much better shot when he was close up (like 10 feet away). I'll put my pic in when I get a chance, but I'll also put Vic's when they're on a disc. So then after we got home, we saw this stray cat who've we've been watching from time to time. We believe she's from the same litter as Romeo because she's the same age and looks just like him from the back and has the same mannerisms. I've already named her. First I named her Cookie, because I thought she was a HE, and because of her coloring. But when Cookie came over, we checked and noticed that he is really a SHE! Or so we think! LOL. She also looks pregnant, because her belly is kind of big for a stray. She was real sweet with us as always. Vic decided to feed her, so I guess we're going to adopt her now! She gobbled it up real quick, and I gave her some treats, and she ate those too and wanted more! Poor baby was hungry. So I'm going to get another job and probably work with Vic at his store so I can afford to have her fixed, declawed and have her shots, etc. Just call me the crazy cat lady! I can't turn away kitties like these when they're all purring and rubbing on me! I have tons of allergies too, but I don't care. If I have to, I'll take shots. So anyway, I changed her name to Juliet because she is most likely a girl and that way we have Romeo and Juliet! Cute huh? So yesterday was a good day for animals! Then I decided to watch some of my Mindfreak dvds because there was nothing on. I watched most of season 1. That was fun and addicting! Vic had gone to bed and then came back out because he couldn't stop watching either! Finally I went to bed at 3 in the morning. I can't wait to watch more! The episodes go by fast without the commercials! So yesterday was fun.
