This is a blog (with some pics) about me going to six flags great america (biggest theme park in illinois) for the first time in 3 years

yesterday was seriusly the scariest and funnest day of my life... me and some friends went to six flags great america!!!!!!! it was me, michael, jake, matt, jacub, ryan and nick that all went (and a couple of parents)... we got there at 10am when it opened and stayed till 10pm when it closed. our goal was to go on every coaster twice... when we first got there it seemed possible because the lines where really short but as the day went on the lines grew to like 1-2hrs so that made it impssoible to ride em all twice...

But we did manage to go on all the rides atleast once and a couple of em twice...

first ride we went on was the viper which is a wooden coaster its only like 50mph though.. but u loose ur stomach like crazy on it.. its really a great ride

then we went on the demon.. its one of the easier rides cause its top speed is only 50.. its got 2 loops and like 5 corkscrews though so its still a fun rude

then came the scariest ride ive ever been on.. the raging bull. this thing's drop is about 210ft and goes nearly 80mph.. it takes like 30-45 seconds just to get to the top of it.. lol the whole time it was goin up i was like 'oh shit oh shit oh shit' lol....the the drop came and i was to scared to scream which was a bad thing cause as it turns out, if u dont scream u cant breath cause ur going so fast so it sucks the air out of u! seriously, take like 3 mins and look this ride up on youtube.. its crazy...

So after the raging bull, we went on the next scariest ride (and my favorite) the American Eagle.. this is another wooden one and its also the oldest ride in the park.. it goes like 65mph too so its pretty fast... theres even a road that goes right through it, so when u pass by that u see the cars just a few feet below u which is really scary.. there 2 tracks that go side by side on this and sometimes one of the tracks will be running backwards.. it wasnt when i went though..

The eagle is such a HUGE ride.. look at this lol.. its takes up one entire side of the park

So after that we went over to the next scariest ride, vertical velocity... its about 165 feet and goes 70mph.. all it does is shoot u up one way, then u fall back and go backwards up the other way.. and by the time the rides about to end, the cars are only like 10 feet from the very top of the trackk... its so scary

so after that we took a break and went & got lunch.. funniest thing in the world happened here though.. so we are sitting down eatingand a couple benhces over there this group of like 8 girls. my friend ryan was like 'woah u see that one in the blue over there? shess so HOT and she keeps lookin over at me".. so we all go over to their table and turns out the girl in the blue, named rachel, thought ryan was pretty hot too... so they talked for awhile.. and while they talked our group of guys where just tlakin to their group of girls lol..we all sorta exchached phone #s lol which was really weird since we'd never seen them before.. but they where nice lol

after lunch we (the girls went on some other ride) went on my second favorite ride, superman: the ultimate flight... this rides so fun cause they flip ur seat so ur in a superman position (look at pic below)..

next we went to the batman ride.. this is one where ur feet dangle.. i hate those kids of ride so i didnt like this one much

Then we went to the ride 'iron wolf'.. this is a STAND UP ride, where ur litteraly straped in while standing up

After that it was staring to get a little dark so we went on the american eagle, demon, and viper again.. but when we where heading to the line for the viper we saw the group of girls and they came with us to the viper. so for the 30 mins it took us to get on the ride we just talked.. ryan and rachel actually sat together... freaks.... seriously though, thats kinda creepy.. sitting together when they hardly know each other.... again, freaks... what ever lol..

theres this new ride that was just put in a few weeks ago called "the dark knight" it goes along with the new batman movie the dark knight.. its more of a family ride so we wernt gonna go on it, but at the end we decided we might as well... and we where like the last people that where alowed it go on it for the day so we lucked out lol.. its an indoor ride and it only goes like 35mph...

six flags also got a free waterpark called Hurricane Harbor which is really cool (I went there last time I was there) but since it was sorta cold (it was only like 70 degrees the whole day) so we didnt go there

simply put, best day of my life :D
