T hriller Night

What a night we had last Thursday at the World Financial Center for the Tribeca Film Festival Drive-In, where "Thriller" and "The Making of Thriller" were screened to a full house of Michael Jackson fans, including myself. There were booths for zombie face painting and glitter glove making, and free popcorn and samples of Snapple's new Antioxidant Water, of which I sampled two flavors, tropical mango and grape pomogranate :D. Making special appearances were choreographer Vince Patterson and director John Landis plus the dancers from "Step It Up and Dance," the Bravo reality series. There was also a Michael Jackson trivia contest and a dance contest prior to the screening. We even had two MJ look-a-likes show up to dance for the crowd and pose for photos with audience members. The winner of the dance contest, btw, was a six year-old boy who danced his little heart out for everyone. Awww! He looked adorable in the zombie makeup, too.
