Love Criss Angel
October 23, 2007I absolutely love the Art of Magic and Criss ~ He is "The Best". The first time I met him was a very special experience.
Criss Angel is the worlds best illusionist and mystifyer and a wonderfully warm person. He has so many talents and never ceases to amaze me. It all started with my son, Sean who was the first in our family to watch Criss. One day I was watching Mindfreak and asked Sean, "Hey, have you ever seen this magician, Criss Angel?" Well, the rest is history. Tragedy struck our family in May of 2006 when my youngest son, Brandon (only 7 yrs old) was hit by a car and only lived for 2 days. Needless to say, our world completely crumbled and stopped. It was 6 months later when I first met Criss at the Grand Opening of the Store at the Luxor. My son, Sean who is an illusionist himself (just starting out ~ inspired by Criss ~ and is VERY good BTW) insisted that we travel to Vegas for the Grand Opening. The weather was terrible and rainy, but we went anyway and I was so glad we did. I met JD and Dimitra prior to the signing and told them the story about Brandon. They were so kind and sympathetic and told Criss about it ~ When we finally got up to meet Criss, JD personally escorted me up to Criss (after speaking to Criss first) and the first thing Criss did was took both of my hands in his and said "I am so, so sorry about your little boy", and "God bless you and your family" He also wished us a very nice Christmas. They were all so completely wonderful to us ~ it really touched my heart. He was very kind to my whole family that night. And actually earlier when he first came out, I was able to hug him as he passed through the crowd and he kissed me (right on the lips!) and said "Hi Honey" I could not believe it!! As you all know, Criss was sick with a cold that night, well . . . I had that cold for a whole month! But it was okay, because it was his cold LOL . The subsequent times I have met him, he has been very, very sweet to me and the awesome thing was when I got my book signed in May of 2007, he remembered me from the Luxor and asked me "You were at the Luxor, right?" This was amazing to me because it had been 5 months since then. I have been very blessed to be able to get so close to this wonderful man and his family and I cherish and appreciate it very much. Of course the only logical next step was to join the Loyal Family ~ which has been a pleasure and all of you are so special and have welcomed me with such warmth ~ Thank you. In closing, I would like to share that my precious little boy Brandon is laid to rest in an area called "Angel Heights" ~ how appropriate in so many ways.
