Roger Federer with 2006 Wimbledon trophy.
Roger Federer is my favorite tennis player and he is the best player. He has won 59 singles titles, which are 14 in Grand Slam tournaments. He has won Wimbledon 5 years in row, just like Björn Borg. In 2008, Roger met Rafael Nadal at the final
(wimbledon). Unfortunately, Nadal won the trophy and Federer didn't record to win 6 years in row. Well, Federer has won 5 years the US Open and last year he won the throphy, loads of money and a car. But he had never won Roland Gaross, till 7 June, 2009. He played against Robin Söderling, which had won over Nadal. Robin had said:
- Now that I have won over Nadal, im sure that I can win over anyone else.
Actually I was worried and I really wished that Federer would win, now that Nadal was gone.
Anyway, it was a very exciting match and it ended 6-1, 7-1, 6-4.
When Roger won, he began to cry, because this meant very much to him. He made me cry too.
