Wow I didn't realize how long it's been since I've written a blog on here. It seems as though it's been ages. If I've learned anything within the past month and a half or so it's that time is more precious now than ever. Time with family, friends, and even time alone is needed now more than ever with the chaotic world that we live in. Another thing that I've learned is that goodbye isn't the hardest word to say, but the hardest word to understand. When you tell someone goodbye it doesn't always mean the end of something. It just means that things are at a standstill for now.

The inner voice I have that speaks about my inner dreams and hopes for the future speaks louder now than I think it ever has. I'll be the first to admit I was ready to drop everything once my grandma died then one night my mom and I were talking and she told me "You know Mi-Mi wouldn't want you to give up and quit. She'd want you to keep going as if she was here." That night I had a dream where someone kept asking me to let them have credit for all the writings I've done and I kept telling them I couldn't do that. "I refuse to let you take my dream away from me."

I urge each person who reads this to do the same. Anytime anyone tries to make you believe they can take your dreams away from you stand up to them and refuse to let them take them. Only you can take your dreams away- only you can choose to make them come true and find out what it feels like to fight for what you want and believe in.
