Some people have summer vacations.

I don't usually have time to vaca much in the summer - it's a busy time! However my fave hobby is going to the lake around the corner after work and just floating around on the water. It's like an addiction ... so calming so soothing. I swim, then I take my floatie, very comfortable and paddle out... the serenity is like nothing else. This has priority.... groceries, shopping anything else is secondary. I'll almost make excuses to people why I can't go out with them in the afternoons.... but my friends & family know about my water world addiction lol!!

In the evenings I choose to catch up on my visiting, etc. Last Saturday night I went to see Rod Stewart in City Park. The concert was awesome!! The temps were cooler on the weekend - unreal how the rainstorm chilled the air. Rod didn't seem to mind - his shirt was wet with sweat... he looked really good. My friends & I were sitting with blankets & hoodies.

Now outdoors it's hot again. To the lake on a day off tomorrow... bliss. Then to watch episode 2 of Criss' MF5 in the evening. More bliss with Criss!
