My entire life, it seems, is an ongoing quest for love, safety and happiness.
Since I came out of the womb, I opened my eyes to a world that did not want me, and made damn sure I painfully understood.
With my middle finger up, I stayed alive, rebelliously demonstrating my intelligence and creativity.
I am an outcast and have always paid the high cost of living.
It's lonely and inconvenient, but it's freedom and being true to me.
I dare to love, celebrate and embrace my strong and powerful female spirit.
I have faced, endured and conquered great repression in my life, being forever misunderstood along the way.
I pick myself up, dust myself off and walk tall continuing my quest to smile.
Hey, I'm only human.
