im no different from everyone else. but i do know the wrongs from the right...

you see alot of people today struggling in life. exspecially us teenagers. we all come from a generation were people turn to DRUGS and LIQUOR. some of us come from a hood, were we grow up around all of that. and the kids start doing things YOUNG. people (grown people) ask me why do I do the things i do for kids just like me. i take little kids YOUNGER then me,kids same age as me, and also older teenagers rangeing from 10- 18 and i make them into dancers. why? shoot cuz i luv teaching, hell no! i do it cus why should every kid follow the same path as there parents or maybe even siblings. i dont only teach them dances, i teach them LIFE. i teach 4 classes and my studio. and 2 of them are for kids that come from the hood. my kids that i teach are the most well behaved, mannered, RESPECTFUL bunch of kids that anyone would ever meet. some come from straight out of detention centers. i show these kids that someone actually cares about them. checks on them, what are they dont, how are they doing, hows skool, how are ur grades. i started teaching when i was 14 years old. i am turning 16 in december. and i've seen a CHANGE in each and everyone one of them since i started to now. there attitude, there trust, but most of there there way in living there life. i am a teen mom. my son vincente just turned 1 in october. everyone makes wrong decisions. i made mine young also. i open myself to these bunch of kids EVERYDAY. i make myself AVAILABLE for these kids everyday. i let them know that theres a big sister always with them. i let them know that, i am here for them when ever they need someone to talk to, just say hi to, no matter what time it is. some grownups thing that teenagers cant change. but they can. i've seen it, ive experienced it. so mothers that are reading this, let ur child know you love them. teenagers that are reading this. make the right choices in life. : )
