MANDRAKE THE MAGICIAN

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Read on...

I have read that Criss is going to star in a movie remake of the comic strip Mandrake the Magician... although there seems to be some conflicting reports. I looked it up on Wikipedia and on there it states Jonathan Rhys Myers is signed on to do it. Now, he is absolutely charismatic, and fabulous to look at ((drooling, hehe)), but... I know the movie would have much more appeal to me if our Mr. Angel was playing the lead role!!! He is perfect for it! I bet you all agree =)

      Yeah I agree with you... Criss would be perfect for the role. I hope Criss gets the lead role.

      Yes Criss would be perfect for the role. I do remember reading some where that he got the part.

      i'll shed alittle info if u go to www.msn.com it shows that the man himself criss angel in his bio.. is mandrake the crime fighting magican so no need to fear that he won't get the plus he is way better looking than that other guy

      100% criss should do the lead role. he is way btr than anyone!lol. i wanna c criss as mandrake. not jonathan. :-( mby if we all complain and go yell at them theyl change it! lol

      Yeah! Jonathon rocks! I can't wait to see Meyers in this film.

      Criss would have been good, but he isn't a pro actor so I guess they replaced him with theTudors star .

      Well I see Jamie already straightened you out, lol. Its gonna be weird to see Criss as the "dad"...lol. EEK. The filming doesn't start for a while...been postponed until after the Olympics. Most of the filming is to occur in China.

      I do wish Criss was in the lead however he is still supposed to have a substantial role of playing Mandrakes father Theron. Criss confirmed this on Larry King Live.

      yer i no i think Criss would suit it better becuase he is as magician and he could make it seem really realistic, but i heard hes playing Mandrakes father or something. I still cant wait to see it though =)
