Losing Loved Ones
September 8, 2008I just found out on Sunday, Sept 7th, that my Dad passed away. Things are crazy, but having loving friends, family, and everybody else in my huge circle of Friends is here to help me...
Its amazing how many friends, family & other people who I hardly know are starting to help me out in dealing with my Dad's passing. Now that I'm the only person left from my close-knit family, is just shocking right now. But I'm appreciating everybody that's helping me out with this. Losing my Dad is so sudden, I really don't know what I'm feeling right now. Life throws bones, either in a good way or bad, but you just have to deal with it.
I've always been a Survivor of bad situations, and I know I'll make it through it in one way or another. There is no reason for me to go somewhere and never return, because I have to be here to watch my Daughter grow up into a successful young lady. I'll be brave, and will withstand anything that tries to knock me down.
Knowing that Criss has always survived many challenges, also helps me become stronger each passing day. I BELIVE that everthing happens for a reason, & we have to accept it regardless of how it makes us feel. Perhaps my Dad died too young; perhaps my Mom & Brother asked God to bring him "home" to them. Either way, here I am, standing alone, but being backed up by an enormous amount of LOVE, Caring friends/family, and a thoughts that keep me positive in moving foward too. I'll always love my Mom, Dad, and little Brother. I now have my 3 Angels watching over me; I feel so loved right now!!!!! R.I.P. my Dad...10/27/1940 to 9/7/2008
