Finally, the day arrived. September 27, 2008. It was a hot day in Las Vegas, but the show was well worth the heat. That day, I met some family out in Vegas. Then, the time had come. It was time to believe. As soon as I stepped out of the car, I saw Costa, Criss Angels’ brother sitting outside! I thought it was him, but then doubted myself for just a second. This seemed too good to be true, but it was. I walked up to him and introduced myself, and he thanked us for coming out to the show. He was talking on his cell phone, and told us to hurry inside, because there was some sort of a pre-show. My mother and I ran into the theater, where we were forced to give up our phones and cameras. This was because the show was brand new to the world, and the creators didn’t want it to end up on youtube the next day. As soon as I stepped into the theater, I was amazed. The scenery of the stage was unbelievable. Most magicians pull a bunny out of a hat, but because Criss has redefined the art of magic, he had an animatronic rabbit pulling Criss out of a hat. I later learned that the bunny’s name was “Lucky”. I looked at my mom, and uttered two simple but meaningful words. “Thank You”.
