This is the paper I wrote for English class about my trip to see beLIEve.....it's a bit long, but I got a 100%...you can't go wrong writing about Criss!

Everybody has something that they believe in. Everyone has an inspiration. Criss Angel serves as mine. He is a professional magician, but also puts his own life on the line every day by bending the lines between reality and illusion. Criss had inspired me to become a magician. I watch his TV show, “MINDFREAK”, on A&E every week, and read books about him. I wanted to know anything and everything about him. When word got out that he would be teaming with Cirque Du Soleil, an expert French circus group, I couldn’t wait to learn more. He announced that the name of his live stage show is “beLIEve”. Criss spells believe differently because within the word believe there is another word…lie. He never claimed to have supernatural powers. He lets his audience decide what is reality and what is illusion. Criss had also said that the show would be nothing like his TV show. The illusions would compliment the show, not the other way around. I had begged my parents if I could go, but the show would only be featured in Sin City (Las Vegas). It seemed like an impossibility for me to ever get to see the show. My parents kept it a big secret, but I later learned that I would be traveling out to Las Vegas to see the premiere of “beLIEve”! I was so excited. I couldn’t believe that I was going to see the MINDFREAK himself. Not only that, but I was sitting in the 4th row!
