A Tribute to Randy Pausch

July 28, 2008

"Link to Last Lecture"

Randy Paush, better known as the "Last Lecture" professor, died July 25th. He inspired millions who watched his lecture on "Achieving your childhood dreams". We all admire Criss for his believe in the Mind, Body and Soul connection. But Randy was a man who embodied that positive attitute right up to the day he died from pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed with the incurable cancer in Sept, 2006. Pancreatic cancer victims often only are given 3-6 months to live. Not only did Randy live for almost two more years, he spent that time celebrating life and living it to the fullest. His lecture has been viewed by almost 5 million viewers on You Tube and who knows how many more times elsewhere. It is well worth the time. Click on the link below Randy's picture to hear his lecture.

Oh Jeanie, I don't have enough Kleenex to watch it again... I saw him on Oprah a while back, and have since then watched his lecture. It is just amazing. He had the most admirable attitude toward life, and death I guess... I wish we could all learn at least a little something from him. He will remain an inspiration to many and his life & battle will certainly be celebrated ;)

I saw this guy on Oprah a while back. His attitude and personality was so amazing. He was so courageous too. What an amazing person.
