Ask yourself this; Is Your Attitude Worth Catching?
February 3, 2009SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT... To ask "what is the role of Attitude in a person's success or failure?" Is much like asking "what is the role of granite stone in the Hymalaya Mountains or the role of H2O in the pacific ocean?" The Answer is simply EVERYTHING.
Our Attitude is the very base, the very foundation of our success or Failure.
If one has the attitude "I cant do this im not cut out for it" or "im not good enough" Then those people will generally receive what they believe is to be true.
But the one who gives the smile and the has that energetic mood who has the sunny optimism will go so much further even if they arent as skilled at the job. Its because their attitude laid out the foundations for them, the support beams to be more successful; Because they had the SUCCESSFUL attitude whilst the other had a FAILING attitude.
Whats apparent with humans is we let ourselves become affect by whatever comes our way. We let the events of the day rule over how we will feel and react. Thus most of us are in a nuetral state of mind. We need to learn to put ourselves in a positive mood intentauly the moment we wake up so throughout the day we find more things to be happy about. Their will sometimes be challenges through our day, and thats fine, but you must approach them with the SUCCESSFUL attitude to over come it with a POSITIVE result. Become Persever.
Unfortunetly though, many go about their day letting themselves become submissive to the things that could frustrate just about anyone. The poor weather, the news on T.V, not getting that parking space at work. And as they hold onto their anger and disappointments the day will bring forth more things to be upset, angery, frustrated and annoyed about. If only they knew a slight change in their attitude and thinking would change around their day completely.
The bad news, dont faulter to this frequency of bad thinking. The reason for any bad result is because of someone else's poor attitude or thinking habits or both. Change your thinking just as easily as you would the channel. Not faultering isnt being unaware whats going on. You can know whats happened but dont allow it to over rule your feelings.
Bad weather, I use to be one of those people who would let the weather determine my mood for that day. I use to dislike the rain and snow. And it ruined my day for sure. But i learned that if our planet doesnt replenish itself with water and participation we wouldnt have the beautiful flowers in the spring nor my favorable beaches in the summer to go swimming. Learn not to become upset with Mama nature, for today's rain with bring tomorrow's flowers.
The parking space, yeah so now you have to walk a few extra steps to get to your final destination and that makes you a little upset. But look at it like this; walking that few extra moments is great for your health anyways! Maybe we should all park farther away to get that extra bit of fresh air and excersise. And how great it feels after wards! I think we should all incorprate it into our "keep healthy" routine. And take the stairss instead of the elavader too!
