Once More, With Feeling...

Wow, what a mess...again!!! Did the people responsible for organizing this little unofficial fan gathering stop and think about any of the legal ramifications or backlash against Criss if APWI had allowed them to continue advertising/soliciting funds for this event on the official fan site and, God forbid, something went wrong?

I saw some of the blogs advertising this event and they were very misleading and probably confusing for new fans, I wasn't surprised that they were removed. However well intentioned the person organizing this event may have been, she/they should have gotten permission from APWI before promoting this event on the official website.

I'll probably be criticized for suggesting it but I think from now on, any unofficial fan gatherings should be organized off of Criss' official site to avoid the upset and confusion obviously created (however unintentionally) by the attempts to organize these events.
