Wow!!!! This week , our president let us know that our economy is in danger. My Reply: DUH!!!!! the stock market has been plummeting, there has been talks about a $700 billion bailout for companies like AIG, fannie mae , and freddie mac. Yesterday, Washington Mutual or WaMU which is known to be one of the largest banks in history collasped because of bad choices in the morgage market . They were seized by the u.s. government and sold to J.P. Chase morgan for $1.9 billion dollars. things have been happening from left to right. HSBC let go 1,100 investment bankers from their company , people are being jobless etc....... Loyals, i'm doing this to scare you but to let you know that you have to stay strong....... i'm saying this to myself as well. Last night my mother gave me a lecture she vented out her regrets that she did not go further on to get her bachalor's or her master's degree to make more money. this is not the only time that she has had this talk with me. I love my mother however, telling me your regrets does not motivate me she does not realize how much of a positive impact that she has had on the people who she had under her for years... she is a teacher's assistant in early education for about thirty plus years. She has made a positive impression on children and parents alike to motivate them to be more of better person who makes the right decisions and have encouragment.this is same woman who told me that if her and my father died that i would not be able to take care of myself....... I cried .... she told me that it was meant to motivate me. This made me feel that she did not expect me to or trust that i will be alright in this life Yes ..... It really hurt me because she is blinded by idols of false success. I love my mother still because she and my father have given me a foundation of independence , God , etc.....However, I have vowed to god and myself that i will not have any regrets in my life for anything i am willing to live my life. I remember when my mother asked me what i wanted to be in five years my answer: TO BE HAPPY . Try to be happy when you see nothing in your life going right , when you don't have anything big happening to you, when you like a loser, don't let others who talk about their regrets in life to you as a motivational tool to get into a state of empowerment empower yourself and others by saying no to regrets. God only knows what lies in your future so he will take good care of you.
