This is a something I wrote about Criss when one of my college essay questions was to write about a person who inspires me...............DUH I DID CRISS!

The art of magic is one I do not perform but find extremely breathtaking. Whether it is a life threatening demonstration or a card trick, magic has the ability to put me in a trance and spark my imagination. I guess one could say magic provides for me a net to save my imagination at times when I feel as though it is dwindling from all the deadlines and stresses of preparing for college. Magic, however, is only as powerful as the person who performs it. I am fortunate enough to have discovered a man like Criss Angel whose ability to perform magic goes beyond entertainment. He uses and performs his craft for the same reasons I dance; to express our minds, bodies and spirits.

Criss Angel has shared his beliefs in self-created sayings, which he encourages his audience to remember. For me personally, he has not only succeeded in encouraging me to remember these quotes but now, I too believe in and live by them. “‘When the mind, body and spirit work together, I believe anything is possible.’ ‘Pain is a beautiful thing. When you feel pain, you know you’re alive,’ and my favorite, ‘BELIEVE.’” These uplifting beliefs have gone above and beyond to help guide my life, making me eternally grateful to have a man like Criss Angel in my life.
