October 21, 2008Seeing Believe on 10/17/08 and attending the meet and greet afterwards.
Well I finally got to see Believe and I had a great time and really enjoyed the show. I won't go into details for all those that haven't seen it yet just in case people don't want spoilers. I'm really looking forward to seeing the show again after it's officially opened and all elements in the show are up and running. It sucks that Criss is having to deal with all these bad reviews...I guess people are really confused as to what the show is meant to be since it's not a traditional cirque or magic show. I'm glad to be a loyal and that we will be there to support him no matter what happens with the show.
Around 12.30am we got to attend the meet and greet. Thankfully it wasn't a very large group so we weren't being fully rushed even though we were pressed for time. He came out and thanked everyone and talked about how much he appreciates our support. It was great to see him in such a good mood. We were only supposed to be allowed one photo each due to time constraints, for a few people that gave him gifts he was happy enough to give them two photos. I did not get him a gift but on my turn while taking our photo Criss said "me and my girl" and then insisted I have a second photo to make sure I had a good one. So after the second photo I told him how much I loved the show and he gave me a kiss on both cheeks. He can be such a sweetheart. It was a great evening and I loved watching people meet him for the first time because I will always remember what my first time was like. Here are my two photos from the meet and greet.
