  I know it was just an accident but it was still my fault, it could have turned out different if i had been paying more attention. We buried Otis in our backyard under a tree so he will always be in the shade. I go out every night and say goodnight to him. My son woke up in tears the other night and when my husband asked him what was wrong, he said he misses Otis and wants him to come back...that hurt so bad. We got another puppy (black lab) named Chancy-he wont ever take Otis's place but we love him too. I just feel like such an awful person and have been doing the "if only". Thanks for your comment.   Sorry it was too long-when my husband got home from work about 3 hours later i realized our lab wasnt with him when he came in...I felt very sick and told my husband i think Otis is still in the car. He did'nt get out with our other dog and i shut him in the car. He was dead when we ran to the car, he died from the heat. I will never forget my husband falling to his knees crying "NO". I will never forget our puppy laying in the back lifeless. I wanted to die...my husband had to drag me out of the car because i did not want to leave Otis.

  Well it's kind of a long story, but I will never forgive myself for what happened and it will haunt me for a long time. When I went to pick up my son from daycare after grocery shopping-our two dogs Dusty(Blue Heeler) and Otis(Black Lab) jumped in the car cause they normally go with me everywhere. When we got home i left my door open so they could jump out and proceeded to get my 4 year old out of his car seat and grab all his stuff he took to daycare.

  OH...so sorry. I hope the next opportunity that comes up you can meet him. Thanks for answering my friends request-I am enjoying meeting other loyals and it has taken my mind off of a devastating event that happened last month to me and my family. My husband is grateful i have found something to keep my mind occupied. So how is your weekend going?

  Ihope you can convince your parents to let you go this is a once in a lifetime chance for you. I would be so bummed if I were you and if your parents dont let you do it you might resent them.I wish you lots of luck and let me know how it goes.   Hi, I was picked to be interviewed and it seems like they picked around 10 to 15 people based on the comments that people have left. I don't know how many of them will actually go because it is so short notice. Try to tell your parents that sometimes in life you just have to go for it. The best experiences are had due to spontaneity and no mattter what happens this will be a memory to last a lifetime.
