This is why im soo mad

I got Affy because my dad's co worker is moving away and didn’t want her anymore, so, she was being fostered by another coworker of his (I’ll call her Alli) and she happens to be a board member of the herpetological society here. I can go to the website and her name is posted as one of the founders. This lizard is not the typical one in pet shops, and it bothers me that she didn’t think more about that, before giving her to me. My guess is the original owner bought her from another state or ordered her online and she was mailed. However she came here is a mystery. But what I did find out after the death unfortunately was that she was being bounced to different people every 3 weeks. So she never had a permanent home. That will stress an animal to the point of death, so the case here. I just don’t understand why Alli couldn’t take her to the society to be checked out by a professional, which I’m sure she knows considering her place there. Or be put into a real foster home until she was healthy enough to be adopted. Any reptile owner would know to do this much, or at least really research the animal your fostering, and understand an animals stress.
