Sorry for not checking my website, keeping you updated and commenting...

Hey there, Candy here! Before I get into some updates, I would just like to apologize for not replying to your comments and reading my website. I've been very busy lately with my singing, DJing and puppies. Haha, you are probably wondering what the heck I'm talking about! Well, let me fill you in:

As you know, this is my very first blog post in a good 2 years hahahaha! Someone is lazy, eh? XD But, I am ready to start updating my blog, my website and commenting on your blogs!

As some of you may know, I have FINALLY reached the 50 referral mark on the Criss Angel Referral program. A lot of you are wondering how the heck I got there. I am going to tell you and fill you in right now. I have a lot of friends who are fans of Criss Angel and I am known almost all over my town for my singing. I have a ton of connections and a lot of people were willing to help me out with the referral program I was obsessing about. So that's basically how I got there, connections, friends and family. :)

Anyways, let's move on to some updates! :D

Traveling back to the summer of 2008, on July 26th, my family and I left for our Las Vegas trip. We were basically going in hopes of seeing Criss. Just before we left, I decided to check the website one more time just in case Criss was going to be somewhere in Vegas while we were there. When I checked the website, I noticed a contest was up to meet and be interviewed by Criss Angel in Las Vegas for a video portion of BeLIEve on August 6th. I though I may as well enter it. So, I sent them an e-mail as to why I wanted/should be accepted to go. Anyway, off we went for our first trip to Vegas! We stayed at the Luxor with combining rooms for a 3 night stay. The Luxor is a beautiful hotel! I loved it! I went on a 3 hour Criss hunt but unfortunately couldn't find him. On the second day of our 3-night stay, we were told that Criss was in Florida for the live episode of MINDFREAK. I was a little heart broken that he wasn't there, but, I didn't lose hope for the interview contest. My brothers didn't think I was going to win the contest for a minute, but I didn't lose hope. When we got home, I quickly ran upstairs to check my e-mail. Guess what I found in my special inbox?! A CONGRATULATIONS E-MAIL! I was like OHHHH SNAP! So I ran downstairs with my bags and said: "Well Mom, "are you ready?"" And she was like "Ready for what?" I was like "To go see Criss?" And my Mom was like "Huh?" Then I was like "I WON THE CONTEST! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH BABY!" So, without even unpacking, we quickly made another flight and off we went AGAIN to Vegas to see Criss! My dream came true! When we got there on the 5th, it was August 6th before I knew it. Unfortunately, the contest didn't really go as planned and no one got their picture taken with Criss or even spoke to him personally. It was just a little "What do you think of Criss Angel?" and that was it. I was sort of disappointed but I was still so glad I got to see him at least once in person.

Moving on to my next update, my dog. My little buddy, Gunner, had to be put down due to Cancer in early July. I miss him so much. He was my everything. I prayed every night and every morning for him to be okay, but, unfortunately, the test results came back and he as brutally sick. We had to put him down. I balled my eyes out every day and night for week straight. I still do. I will never, ever forget Gunner and how he loved every single one of us so much. Gunner was my ultimate loyal freak. ;)

Moving on... on October 31st, I was in Las Vegas to see Criss Angel BeLIEve on November 2nd. The show was wonderful. The crowd was sort of into it, but, me personally, I LOVED IT! I was in second row, dead center with my family. Half way through the show, Criss winked at me 3 times! I was like OH... MY... GOSH! I was freaking out! Hahaha! It was a fun trip!

Moving on to my last update for tonight, singing. Last year, I sung at my Grade 8 Graduation. I sung "Whenever You Remember" by Carrie Underwood. The performance went very well and the after party was even better! There was dancing, music, food, drinks, games and it was just so fun hanging out with my friends and celebrating 8 great years of grade school and now ready for the compassionate, monumental and tough times ahead of us in Grade 9. So far, this year in Grade 9 has been a BLAST! At the moment, I am getting ready for a TV Show audition on February 8th called Karaoke Star JR. The first episode will premier on April 13th at 7 - 8 pm EST! Wish me luck!

Well, that's about it, I promise I will update my blog as soon as possible next time.

Sorry for the inconvenience once more and I hope you all had a wonderful New Years, Christmas and holidays.

God Bless and loyal love,

Jenny.
